Collected telecommunications wires; polymer modified gypsum and bronze powder
22” H x 183” W x 13” D
In Drift, long lengths of telecommunications wires are woven into a horizontally oscillating structure. The form recalls geological formations, evoking sedimentation processes and hidden telecommunications infrastructure. The stripped and exposed wire ends convey a sense of latent electricity and vitality, while the sculpture’s open backing reveals its interior texture.
