Lies, lies, lies...

Lies, lies, lies... is an early installation that explores hidden patterns of embellishment in everyday communication. The project featured “lying booths,” semi-public spaces where participants could submit their hand-written lies, surrounded by sheer curtains screen-printed with lies. A collection of lies was then embroidered with white thread onto fabric, which was dissolved, leaving only the threads to hold the lies together—highlighting the dual nature of lies as both strong and fragile. An interactive website, The Lies Project, extended the work by allowing participants to submit, manipulate, and share lies online, creating a virtual community of lies and liars.
